Privacy policy
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This website is run by Digital Nafta Portal FZCO ("Digital Nafta", "we", "us"), IFZA Trade License 78656, IFZA Business Park, DDP, Premises 78656-001, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything about your data, write to hello@digitalnafta.com.
What this policy covers
It covers the company pages of digitalnafta.com: the home page, services, approach, our apps, about, contact and the legal pages. Our apps and some tools hosted under this domain have their own privacy policies. Those apply instead of this one when you use them.
What we collect
When you send the contact form
The details you type in: name, work email, company, website or app link, role, monthly ad spend range, channels, main goal, message and how you heard about us. We also receive the page you sent the form from and any campaign tags (UTM parameters) in the link you used to reach the site.
To stop spam and abuse, the server that receives the form records a one-way hashed version of your IP address, your browser's user agent and language, and the referring page. The hash is used for rate limiting and cannot be turned back into your IP address by reading it.
When you email us
Your email address, the content of your message and anything you attach.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics only loads after you click Accept on the analytics banner. Until then, or if you decline, the page sends nothing to Google and sets no analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies (such as _ga) and measures the pages you view, your approximate location, device type and how you reached the site. We turn off Google signals and advertising features. Nothing from this website is used for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Stored in your browser
Your analytics choice and your light or dark theme preference are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare the diagnostic you asked for, which are steps taken at your request before any contract.
- To keep the website and the form secure and free of spam, which is our legitimate interest.
- To measure how the website is used, only with your consent.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.
Who processes it
- The contact form is received and stored by a server we control on jannafta.com, the founder's website, which runs on the same hosting account as this site.
- Our web hosting and email providers store the website, the form records and our mailboxes.
- A server we rent picks up each new request, sends your confirmation email and notifies Jan through a private Telegram bot. The details of your request pass through that server, our email provider and Telegram.
- Google processes analytics data as described above.
These providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers offer.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not lead to work together: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- If we work together, what is needed for the contract and invoicing is kept for as long as the law requires.
- Google Analytics data: for the retention period set in our analytics account, never longer than 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to hello@digitalnafta.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. These rights apply under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, where relevant, the GDPR and the UK GDPR.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
