Answered by a person
Support
One address, one person, an answer within two business days. Below it are the questions we expect most, answered properly rather than pointed at a help center. Nothing here asks you for anything about your pregnancy, and nothing ever will.
If you think you are in labor, email is the wrong tool and two business days is the wrong speed. The NHS says to call your midwife or maternity unit for guidance if you think you are in labor, and to call urgently if your water breaks, if you are bleeding, if your baby is moving less than usual, or if you are under 37 weeks. Your provider's instructions win over anything on this page.
This inbox is for the app and the timer. It is not medical help, and nobody reading it is a clinician. Wavesong is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
How to write to us
The address is support@digitalnafta.com. It lands in a mailbox a person reads, and that same person replies, within two business days and usually sooner. No ticket number, no queue position, no bot writing the first answer.
Three things make the first reply useful: which iPhone you are on, which version of iOS it runs (Settings, then General, then About), and what you were touching when it went wrong. A screenshot beats a description of one. If it is the website rather than the app, name the browser instead.
We do not want your health data. Not your due date, not your log, not your contractions, not anything a clinician has told you. We cannot see it and we will never ask for it. Support cannot look up your session, because there is nothing to look up: your log lives in your own browser or on your own iPhone and never reaches us. If you send something like that by accident, say so in a reply and the message gets deleted.
The questions we expect most
The timer on the website lost my log
It lives in the storage of the browser you timed it in, on that device, and nowhere else. That is deliberate, and it is why nothing about your pregnancy is ever uploaded. Three things follow. A private or incognito window throws the log away the moment you close it. Clearing site data, history or cookies wipes it. And opening the timer in another browser, on another phone or on a laptop starts from nothing, because there is no account and no server holding a copy to hand back. We cannot restore it, and neither can anyone else. For a copy that outlives all of that, email the log to yourself from the box under the timer while the session is open.
It says the pattern is paused and I have been at this for hours
That is the freshness guard, and it is working. A rule that asks a pattern to hold for an hour is asking for a pattern that is still going, so if nothing new has been timed for more than two of your rule's intervals, the reading drops back to paused instead of sitting on met. Under 5-1-1 that is ten quiet minutes. Tap the button on the next one and it picks up where it left off. Nothing is reset and your log is untouched.
All three parts are met and it still will not tell me to go
It will not, and that is the design rather than a missing feature. Wavesong measures the rule you were given and shows which parts are met right now. It never says you are in labor and it never tells you to go anywhere, because that call belongs to your provider. Three met rows are for the phone call itself: read out how long they are lasting, how far apart they are start to start, and how long the pattern has held. What the three numbers ask for goes through it slowly.
I paid and the app is still asking me to pay
Open the app, go to the paywall or to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase. That is almost always the whole fix, because the usual cause is a second Apple Account or a fresh install signed in to the wrong one. If Restore comes back empty on the right account, write to us with the date of purchase and we will help you take it to Apple.
The email with my log never arrived
Check the spam or junk folder first, because a plain text message full of timestamps from a domain you have never mailed before is exactly what a filter grabs. Then check the address you typed. It goes to that address and to no other, we keep no copy, and there is nothing on our side to resend, so a typo means sending it again from the timer.
Subscriptions, receipts and refunds
Apple handles every payment for Wavesong end to end. We never see a card number, we cannot issue a refund and we cannot cancel a subscription for you, because we hold neither the money nor the switch.
- To cancel: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Wavesong, then Cancel Subscription. It keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
- For a refund or a receipt: use Apple's Report a Problem page, signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Apple decides refunds, not us.
- To change plan: the same Subscriptions screen switches between the annual and the weekly price.
What we can answer is what sits behind the paywall and what does not. The price is written out in pricing.md, the renewal wording is in the terms, and what we do and do not store is in the privacy page.
Press, bugs and everything else
Same address. support@digitalnafta.com reaches the people who built this. Press asking for assets, anyone who wants the raw measurement behind a number on this site, App Store reviewers, and anyone who thinks a page here is wrong all land in the same inbox. A page that turns out to be wrong gets corrected and re-dated in the open.
Where the call list at the top comes from
- NHS, the stages of labour and birth. Lists what to call about urgently: your waters breaking, bleeding, the baby moving less than usual, and being less than 37 weeks.
- NHS, signs that labour has begun. Call your midwife or maternity unit for guidance if you think you are in labour, or if contractions come every 5 minutes or more often.
- ACOG, preterm labor and birth. Labor that starts before 37 weeks of pregnancy needs medical attention right away.
- The contraction timer. Free, in your browser, the same model the app runs
- The 5-1-1 rule. What each of the three numbers asks for
- Privacy. What is stored, where, and for how long
- Terms. Renewal, cancellation and what this is not
Two more things people ask
Can you tell me whether I am in labor?
No, and we will not guess. Nobody on this team is a clinician, no page on this site is reviewed by a doctor, and the app measures a pattern rather than reading a body. That question goes to your provider, and the timer exists to make the call shorter.
Can you delete my data?
There is almost nothing to delete. The contraction log never reaches us, so it is not ours to remove: clearing your browser data or deleting the app removes it at the only place it exists.
The one thing we hold is an email address, if you left one to hear when the app opens. Write to support@digitalnafta.com and it comes off the list the same week.
While you are here
- Braxton Hicks or labor: how to tell them apart while it is happening. The test ACOG gives, and what a timer can and cannot settle.
- When to go to the hospital in labor: the call, the drive and the timing. Going too early and going too late are different mistakes.
- Contraction timer app: what to look for before you install one at 38 weeks. Ads, paywalls and pattern alerts, measured across the vertical.
